Andrew Nembhard is Cleared to Play, and Bettors Can Finally Exhale

The Indiana Pacers are getting Andrew Nembhard back on the floor this Friday, which means anyone holding a ticket on his assist props can officially stop sweating.

Underdog NBA confirmed the point guard is officially available after dealing with a stiff neck. This is the exact kind of late-week injury update that swings fantasy matchups and sends oddsmakers scrambling to adjust their lines.

"Underdog NBA reported Nembhard is listed available to play Friday."

For context, Nembhard is not just a guy filling minutes right now. With Tyrese Haliburton parked on the bench nursing a hamstring injury, Nembhard has been handed the keys to the entire Indiana offense.

He just dropped 18 points and 14 assists in a loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. Putting up 14 dimes in a single NBA game is the kind of heavy lifting that would give anyone a stiff neck, so the injury report actually checks out.

The Pacers desperately need him against the Miami Heat. Watching an NBA offense try to function without its top two point guards is like watching someone try to parallel park a school bus with no power steering. It is slow, painful, and usually ends with a lot of yelling.

Now that Nembhard is cleared, expect him to immediately step back into that massive playmaking void. If he is running the show again on Friday night, the over on his assist total is going to be the most popular group-chat text in the country.
