Justin Jefferson is Active, But the Vikings' Receiver Room is Running on Fumes
Justin Jefferson is officially active for the Vikings against the Saints, but with Jordan Addison and Odell Beckham Jr. ruled out, Minnesota's passing attack is looking dangerously thin.

Finding live odds…

The Minnesota Vikings are getting their superstar back on the field, but the rest of the receiver room is looking like a ghost town.
Adam Schefter just dropped the official word for today's matchup against the New Orleans Saints: Justin Jefferson is active. The catch is that Jordan Addison and Odell Beckham Jr. are both in street clothes (which, to be fair, is a look Beckham usually crushes).
"Adam Schefter reported Jefferson is active while Addison and Beckham Jr. are inactive."
Having Jefferson on the field is obviously the ultimate cheat code, but being the only established threat means he is about to see double coverage that borders on a hostage situation. The Saints' defensive backs can basically ignore the rest of the field and just form a human wall around number 18.
Minnesota is coming off a brutal 15-10 rock fight of a win against the Miami Dolphins last week. They desperately need some offensive juice, and they are hoping to find it against a New Orleans defense that just got absolutely torched by the Atlanta Falcons to the tune of 45-24.
If you are looking at Jefferson's prop numbers today, the target share is going to be astronomical. There is literally nobody else for the quarterback to throw to unless they plan on dusting off a random practice squad guy who just learned the playbook on Tuesday.
The Vikings need Jefferson to put on a cape today to keep the offense moving. We will see if one generational talent is enough to break a Saints defense that is currently leaking oil, or if the lack of Addison and Beckham Jr. makes Minnesota too one-dimensional to survive.
