Malik Nabers is Fully Healthy for Sunday Night (and John Harbaugh is Apparently Coaching the Giants)

Malik Nabers is officially a full go for Sunday Night Football against the Cowboys, which is great news for the Giants. The even bigger news is that New York apparently hired John Harbaugh to be their head coach without telling anyone.

ESPN insider Adam Schefter dropped the injury update on Wednesday, casually attributing the quote to "Giants HC John Harbaugh." Brian Daboll is probably sitting in his office in East Rutherford right now wondering if his keycard still works.

"Giants HC John Harbaugh said WR Malik Nabers was a full participant in today’s practice ahead of Sunday nights opener against the Cowboys. - Adam Schefter"

Typo aside, Nabers logging a full practice is a massive sigh of relief for a Giants offense that desperately needs him. You do not draft a wide receiver in the top ten to watch him stretch on the sideline during a primetime divisional game.

The Cowboys are coming to town for the Sunday night opener, and Dallas has made a habit of turning Daniel Jones into a tragic figure on national television. Having a fully healthy Nabers gives New York at least a fighting chance to stretch the field and keep Micah Parsons from setting up a tent in the backfield.

For fantasy managers and anyone looking at player props, a full Wednesday practice means you can fire up Nabers with confidence. There are no lingering snap-count concerns when a guy is going full speed this early in the week.

We will see if Nabers can deliver on the hype under the bright lights this weekend. In the meantime, we wish Coach Harbaugh the best of luck in his surprise dual-role managing both the Baltimore Ravens and the New York Giants.
