UFC Inks Knockout Artist Roberto Soldic for a Violent Debut Against Khaos Williams

The UFC just signed a guy whose fists should probably require a background check, and they are throwing him directly into the deep end.

According to Ariel Helwani, former KSW double-champion Roberto Soldic has officially inked a deal with the UFC. He isn't getting a tune-up fight against a regional circuit can, either. Soldic is slated to debut against Khaos Williams at UFC 332.

If you aren't familiar with Soldic, his resume reads like a created video game character with the power sliders maxed out. The Croatian welterweight has 21 career wins, and 18 of them have come by knockout. He spent years terrorizing the European scene as a two-division champ before a weird, brief stint in ONE Championship.

Now he is finally in the big show, and the matchmakers decided to welcome him by locking him in a cage with Khaos Williams. Williams is basically a human car crash who throws every punch like he is trying to punch through a brick wall. Putting these two together is the matchmaking equivalent of lighting a firework indoors and locking the door.

For anyone looking at the early betting angles, do not expect this one to see the judges' scorecards. UFC 332 is just about a month away, and while the card is still taking shape, this fight alone guarantees at least one person is waking up staring at the arena lights.
