The Minnesota Vikings reportedly wanted a 2027 first-round pick for J.J. McCarthy earlier this year. They just traded him to the New York Giants for a 2027 fifth-round pick, which is the trade-market equivalent of listing a used couch for a thousand dollars and accepting a half-eaten bag of chips.
