Yankees Hand Game 1 Wild Card Start to Ace Cam Schlittler

The New York Yankees are officially handing the ball to Cam Schlittler for Game 1 of the Wild Card Series against the Boston Red Sox.

Giving a 25-year-old the Game 1 start in the Bronx usually comes with a mandatory stress-induced ulcer, but Schlittler has spent the entire 2026 season proving he is immune to normal human pressure.
