DJ Moore heads to the locker room for X-rays as the Bills cruise against Detroit

DJ Moore just took a brutal shot to the shoulder, and now the Buffalo Bills are holding their collective breath while he gets X-rayed in the locker room.

According to Ian Rapoport, Moore landed hard and is officially questionable to return with a shoulder injury and a stinger. If you have him in your fantasy lineup or were eyeing some live player props, you are currently staring at your phone waiting for a medical miracle.

The only silver lining for Buffalo is that they are currently dismantling the Detroit Lions 27-7. They do not exactly need Moore to play hero ball to close this one out, which means the medical staff has zero reason to rush him back onto the field.

Moore looked electric in his Bills debut last week, torching the Houston Texans for 100 yards and a touchdown on five catches in a 36-31 shootout win. He was brought in to be the alpha of this passing attack after putting up 682 yards and six scores for the Chicago Bears last season.

A stinger is one of those NFL injuries that sounds like a minor inconvenience but actually feels like your entire arm just got unplugged from the wall. Add in the X-rays for the shoulder, and this goes from a quick trip to the blue medical tent to a full-blown crisis management situation.

Moore has a solid track record of playing through the pain, battling through quad and ankle issues over the last couple of years. For now, the Bills will lean on their massive lead against Detroit while everyone else waits to see if their star receiver avoided a long-term disaster.
