The Washington Commanders just officially ruled out Jayden Daniels with a left elbow injury, and Washington fans are officially allowed to start staring blankly into the middle distance.

Daniels went down in the first half of Sunday's Week 2 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. The broadcast showed him tripping on the final play of the half, bending that left arm backward in a way that makes you want to immediately log off and go for a walk. He left the field with a cast or splint on the arm, leaving Washington trailing 17-10 and scrambling for answers.
